A me piacciono entrambi i dischi, ma forse preferisco Ecailles che è più vario, dinamico, con atmosfere più invernali. Souvenirs è molto bello, e ha un'atmosfera particolare (soprattutto in ambito metal) che lo rende molto originale, ma lo trovo alla lunga un pò statico. Sarà poi che lo shoegaze, (quello vero di My Bloody Valentine e affini) mi piace con moderazione... su atmosfere simili a Souvenirs ho preferito La stanza di Swedenborg dei Vanessa Van Basten (pubblicato l'anno prima dell'esordio degli Alcest), a mio parere davvero splendido

Ottimi i vanessa anche se trovo che non abbiano tantissimo in comune con gli alcest.

Ieri mi sono ascoltato ecailles...devo ammettere che ogni volta che lo ascolto è sempre meglio. Percèes de lumière ad esempio è una canzone che è cresciuta tantissimo rispetto ai primi ascolti.

Già vero! L'ho letto oggi sul fb della prophecy, molto interessante la cosa di includere entrambe le versioni. Son propri curioso di sentire quella nuova, sicuramente su Le Secret avrà sicuramente sistemato la voce che risultava veramente penalizzata nella versione originale

"We are in Markus Stock's Studio E since one week now to record the next Alcest album. I worked a lot on composing new material last year, the result is really epic and otherworldly. It gather all the aspects I liked from each Alcest release until now, ideologically and musically. It's a synthesis work. This record will containing eight songs and I am sure it will be an important step in Alcest's discography."

Non so se è uno scherzo da primo d'aprile, ma questo dorvebbe essere il wooden box della ristampa di Le Secret, e l'idea è talmente tamarra che non si può non amare. Cioè FOGLIE D'EDERA

It was originally released back in 2005 in an edition of just 1,000 copies which sold out before the release of "Souvenirs d'un Autre Monde", thus becoming a sought-after collector's item. The EP isn't just re-released in its original form, though. Instead, Neige has realised his dream of many years to re-record these tracks which are so meaningful to him personally and so fundamental to Alcest and to adjust them to his matured demands. Still, the original recordings from 2005 are an equal part of this re-release.
The booklet will also contain two essays by Neige, "Sounds from another world" and "A glance at 'Le Secret': Ten years after its first draft", wherein he sheds some light on the esoteric side of Alcest and on the background and meaning of "Le Secret."

Tra l'altro è inclusa anche la chiave di casa di Neige nel wooden box

Comunque sul fb la Prophecy aveva fatto lo scherzo d'Aprile annunciando che la pubblicazione di Le Secret era saltata per beghe legali con la Drakkar... simpaticoni
