Sul primo e secondo posto ho avuto un pò di dubbi, lo scarto è infinitesimale, per il 3° posto ho voluto premiare un brano di Damnation visto come avevo trattato Windowpane nell'altro girone, ne và da se che The Lotus Eater sia ultima.

Girone decisamente meno illegale del precedente...comunque l'eliminazione di blackwater park è davvero terribile!

Under the weeping moon: 4 punti - la mia canzone preferita di Orchid...davvero un gioiello di rara bellezza. L'arpeggio ossessivo nella parte centrale crea davvero un'atmosfera oscura e notturna..

The night and the silent water: 3 punti - Uno dei pezzi più amati dagli opeth fans..e pure io lo apprezzo molto anche se in morningrise preferisco altri 2 pezzi! Splendida ed evocativa...è stato fantastico sentirla dal vivo.

The lotus eaters: 2 punti - Tra i pezzi migliori di Watershed..una scheggia di follia..specialmente nella parte centrale. Ma non regge il confronto con i 2 pezzi old style a livello emozionale.

In my time of need: 1 punto - Non mi esalta..non uno dei pezzi che preferisco in damnation. Ultimo posto senza dubbio.

 

Io ancora non capisco come, un capolavoro come BWP, non sia passata! bah!
