Tuomas ha dichiarato che per il prossimo tour imaginaerum costituerà il 50% della setlist dei vari show. A me fa solo piacere dato che adoro l'ultimo disco e oltretutto annette sui pezzi di tarja non se la cava troppo bene.

Mi sarò fatto vecchio ma io tanti problemi non me ne faccio, se un album mi piace, mi paice e basta senza se e senza ma........ e l'ultimo dei Nightwish è bellissimo, lo adoro!

Per me si è sempre dato troppo contro ad Anette, in Imaginerum mi piace da impazzire! (come tutto l'album, del resto XD)
In DPP non cantava canzoni sue, e in più raccoglieva una pesante eredità! Sul fatto che abbia una voce pop boh, fossero tutte così le voci pop mi darei al genere ma penso che se una cantante pop provasse a cimentarsi in una canzone di Imaginerum non ne uscirebbe bene..
Mi piacerebbe andare a vederli a Milano ma purtroppo le tasche sono quelle che sono, e preferisco saltare stavolta per dar la precedenza ad altri concerti

wow!! finalmente mi è arrivato "Imaginaerum" beate poste, ordinato a dicembre su play.com
è un giorno che lo ascolto e lo trovo veramente bello, leggermente più leggero di "Dark passion.." o quantomeno più ispirato verso soluzioni da colonna sonora e meno metal ma decisamente bello.

al momento però Dark Passion Play per me resta un gradino sopra, forse perchè la dimensione Metal prevale nel precedente lavoro, vediamo, se con ripetuti ascolti cresce o meno...

p.s. la parte in parlato nella traccia XII mi piace poco, troppo lunga.

Io e mia moglie abbiamo deciso di andare a vedere i Nightwish a Budapest il 29 aprile. Allunghiamo per il ponte del 1° maggio e ne approfittiamo per visitare anche la città. Non ho mai acquistato biglietti dall'Italia di un concerto all'estero. Mi sapete dare qualche dritta? Ho visto il sito ungherese i prezzi e tutto ma mi da delle opzioni tipo:
1)Ti spediamo i biglietti (non ho capito se c'è un costo aggiuntivo e se devo aver paura che le poste mi smarriscono i biglietti...)
2)Pick up (li ritiro io a mano in un box office a Budapest ma non voglio rischiare di non fare in tempo visto che arriverei un paio d'ore prima dell'apertura dell'arena)
3)Da stampare con costo aggiuntivo di 5€ (questa non l'ho capita..... cioè me lo spedisco via mail e poi lo stampo? e perchè c'è un costo aggiuntivo?)

P.S. I biglietti a Budapest mi costerebbero 33€ tutto compreso a persona....... ottimo prezzo!

Io non sono un grande estimatore del gruppo ma devo dire che l'ultimo mi convince molto e più lo ascolto e più mi piace... Tanto e' vero che sono settimane che ci piazzo un almeno un ascolto a settimana... Mi sa che il 25 al forum ci sarò ....

Nightwish- Imaginaerum Review by Paolo

Here I am, writing these words while the notes of Angels fall fist flow into my ears, and I am pondering about how Nightwish’s music has deeply changed from its first effort dated 1997. However even though the sound may seem completely different from the early days the essence of this band is still intact as well as the honesty and the inspiration of the music itself.

And here we are 14 years later celebrating a new chapter in Tuomas Holopainens’ musical carrier: Imaginaerum is a marvellous roller coaster ride, a spell-binding experience full of mood changes that will surely capture you if you dare to enter the stage show… Personally it embraces all the aspects that I really love about music: Great harmonies, catchy choruses, awesome song writing and an overwhelming production. But the aspect that surprised me the most about this album is the incredible diversity in the sound, which explores new musical territories that are entirely new for the band such as the Jazzy “slow, love slow” in which Annette proves to have matured a lot as a singer ad gifts us with an outstanding performance, or in the creepy “Scaretale”, surely one of my favourites. This is a dark, twisted Tim burtonish track which leads you in the heart of a children’s nightmare. In a way this can be considered Tuomas’s version of Metallica’s enter sandman as he once admitted in an interview. The record continues on from the joyful and catchy “story time” to the most typical Nightwish sounding track, “last ride of the day” passing through some extremely good ballads which in my opinion are up to the standard of masterpieces like “ever dream” or “sleeping sun”. But probably the best stuff comes last…and with the 13 minutes long “song of myself” Tuomas truly surpasses himself creating a dark symphonic musical ride filled with heavy riffs (almost pantera-like) and enchanting melodies while the last track on the album “imaginaerum” (an orchestral piece that sums up the main themes of the album) soothes the listener bringing him out of that magical world painted by the band’s music.

Summing up, to me this album is outstanding, and can be quite easily classified as one of the best albums of the band up to now. It maintains the characteristic Nightwish sound, but at the same time adds new elements, and has a bombastic production which makes everything sound really “big” and heavy, but clean at the same time. So once again thank you Tuomas for sharing your musical genius with the world… we are truly grateful.

ragazzi che ne pensate della canzone "the escapist"? io l'ho scoperta grazie al live in hong kong (in realtà era gia contenuta nel singolo di bye bye beautiful) e penso che sia diventata tra le mie canzoni preferite dell'era annette... veramente stupenda sia la musica che il testo
