Brevissima recensione fatta da me, postata già sul forum ufficiale dei Nightwish italiano (A differenza di Milano gli effetti c'erano tutti e fuochi a volontà)
Per il nuovo tour dei Nightwish, io e mia moglie abbiamo deciso di provare la tappa al Papp László Sportaréna di Budapest approfittando della promozione di ryanair per la nuova tratta da Ciampino a Budapest. Tralasciando la bellezza della città e il gran caldo ( minime intorno ai 18/20° e massime tra 28/30° ) dopo un paio di giorni che eravamo in città, il 29 dopo una mattinata passata alle terme, ben riposati abbian preso la metro rossa e siamo scesi a Stadionok, praticamente a 50 metri dal palazzetto.
Siamo entrati e ci siamo seduti ai nostri posti in 5 minuti, organizzatissimo, con tantissimi tornelli, nessuna fila, tantissimi punti ristoro e una miriade di bagni. La struttura davvero molto bella e moderna!
Alle 19 in punto aprono gli Eklipse, molto brave anche se avrei preferito da parte loro uno sforzo maggiore nella ricerca delle due cover da proporre, soprattutto per "Paparazzi", magari scegliendo una cover un pò più in tema della serata. Proseguono i Battle Beast in stile Heavy Metal classico, mi hanno ricordato molto i Judas Priest e gli Accept, con una voce davvero potente.
Per i Nightwish non mi dilungo perchè sia la setlist che tutti gli effetti scenici sono quelli visti e rivisti nei vari video su youtube. Devo dire che, dal mio punto di vista, sono stati perfetti! Tralasciano le movenze sul palco (mia moglie si è divertita ad imitarla durante il concerto) Anette non ha preso mezza stecca, è stata davvero impeccabile, brava brava. L'acustica era perfetta, potente e senza sbavature, ancora un plauso al palazzetto e ai tecnici. Il palazzetto era quasi pieno qualche posto vuoto su un settore degli spalti e nel parterre si è riempito poco oltre la metà, quasi al 75%!
Una volta finito il concerto siamo usciti e tutti e dico tutti in metro verso la propria casa e/o hotel!
Non potevamo chiedere di meglio, io e mia moglie abbiamo già pensato che al prossimo concerto utile andremo nuovamente a Budapest!

sembra che ci sarà un progetto solista per Tuomas Holopainen:
Tuomas has confirmed with us that both Pip Williams and Troy Donockley will be featured on his solo album in 2013. Tuomas said that "We absolutely need pipes on it, because Mr Scrooge is from Scotland. So of course that means Troy wlil be on there." He then later mentioned the use of orchestral sections and that Mr Williams had confirmed to be happy to work on the project.
Tuomas expects to start writing the new album in early Spring and record in Summer of 2013.

Debbo dire che non riesco a immaginarmi il nome di Tuomas che non sia associato a qualcosa che riguardi i nightwish...la cosa mi rimane abbastanza strana

Era da un po' che si parlava di questo suo progetto solista, finalmente è arrivata la conferma! Bene!
Secondo me sarà un progetto molto interessante, Zio Scrooge rulez XD
Contando che questo progetto uscirà nel 2013, immagino che dovremmo aspettare minimo il 2015 per un altro album dei Nightwish...

"Imaginaerum", il film dei NIGHTWISH basato sull'omonimo album della band, uscirà il prossimo 23 novembre. Il progetto ha potuto usufruire dei fondi dell'ente governativo finlandese Finnish Film Foundation ed è stato diretto da Stobe Harju. L'intera produzione ha ricevuto 575,000 di dollari di sussidi, a fronte di un budget complessivo di 3.7 milioni di dollari.

Sono contento anche io, ma pensare che 575 mila dollari sono stati presi da un fondo finlandese, mi fa pensare che potevano essere usati in altri modi questi soldi...poi magari esce un capolavoro, eh...
