Dear friends.

2010 was a very productive year, we recorded our new album "Dystopium" and went on tour with Therion for 29 shows in 18 different countries. We had so much fun! Alvaro Svanerö was replaced by Lawrence Dinamarca and Niklas Kupper by Mano Lewys. During the tour preparations Thomas "Tym" Jonsson had severe back problems which led him to the conclusion that he could not participate, hence Jimmy Mattsson stepped in to fill his shoes on the tour. Now in January Tym decided to quit playing bass and concentrate on his guitar shredavaganza instead so as of January 2011 Jimmy Mattsson is the new bassplayer in Loch Vostok.

2011-05-23 Saturday, the world was supposed to go down in flames and floods so naturally we decided it was a great day to shoot a video. We were hoping
the scenes from the movie 2012 would emerge since our budget was limited and didn't allow room for a lot of CGI and stuff.

We unloaded all the gear and started setting shit up, had a lot of whiskey and beer...all in! Then the shooting started. Everything was cool, Martin Gustafsson (The Director) was doing ninja moves to try to catch all the finesse and sheer power of the band and suddenly we were done.

We finished the day by drinking everything in the bar, including the Olive oil
and Martins ass lube. Much to our dismay, the world was quite present on Sunday morning.

Judging by the band members looks, facial expressions and odor, I guess we all felt like our souls had been raptured, but the bodies, heavily infested by hang-overism, were left as mere shadows of our former selves.

In short: We had a fun and productive weekend!

2011-06-06 We've inked a three-album deal with ViciSolum Productions! The release of "Dystopium" is set for September 23. With these exciting news we would also like to welcome mr Niklas Kupper back to the band!

Più heavy e meno prog dei precedenti, poi non so se sia la copia che sto ascoltando io, però la tastiera è bassa rispetto agli altri strumenti.

As posted on our Facebook page a while back... We have begun the writing process for the next album. No album- or song titles confirmed at the moment. We're currently aiming on hitting the studio in February for a possible summer release of our fifth album.

The recordings of our fifth album, V: The Doctrine Decoded, will commence at the end of February. Set for an early summer release via the awesome ViciSolum Productions this album will feature our most extreme and cheesy material yet!
