in realtà di dischi non ne hanno ancora pubblicati, ma è più che altro la notizia della creazione di questa nuova band.

è il nuovo gruppo formato dai componenti (e se non erro principali compositori) fuoriusciti dai negura bunget (a mio modo di vedere una delle band più geniali degli ultimi anni) dopo lo split di qualche tempo fà.

pubblicheranno a breve un EP con la nuova etichetta, e un disco vero e proprio nel 2010.

Musically, Dordeduh will follow the path opened by Negura Bunget, but the musical act will be accorded to a new perspective as we will experiment a new way of approaching black metal as well as using traditional instruments. It is normal for musicians to evolve and develop with every album released, but our goal is to push forward this natural development and to make Dordeduh distinguishable from our musical past.

molto molto interessante, speriamo bene...

 

Mi sono da pochi mesi avvicinato alla musica dei Negura Bunget ed ho ascoltato gli Ultimi due: N Crugu Bradului e Om. Dei due ho acoltato molto di più Crugu per il semplice motivo che volevo cominciare con il più vecchio. Sono sicuramente una band particolarissima che necessita di un'infinità di ascolti per poter capire tutte le sfumature dei brani, sia per le durate che per la complicatezza delle composizioni nelle quali tutti gli strumenti (compresa la voce) sono in equilibrio. Anche le lunghe sessioni strumentali meritano di essere menzionate. Non sapevo che si fossero sciolti. La cosa mi dispiace ma almeno ho ancora 2 dischi e mezzo da ascoltare di questa fantastica band.
Come non ero al corrente dello split non sapevo nemmeno di questa nuova band. Mi fa moltissimo piacere sapere che hanno lasciato il già sperimentalissimo progetto dei Negura per qualcosa di ancora più diverso (chissà cosa proporranno?).
Intanto cercherò di recuperare i dischi che mi restano dedicandomici molto perchè richiedono veramente molto tempo per essere approfonditi come si deve.

 

Non è esattamente uno split..cioè, non si son sciolti i Negura..hanno cambiato 3 membri..inizialmente dovevan proprio sciogliersi ma poi Negru, il batterista e unico membro fondatore rimasto ha deciso di proseguire coi Negura, assieme ad altri 3 dell'ultima formazione..ma tra i 3 che di fatto invece sono usciti, c'erano anche 2 dei fondatrori, cioè Sol Faur (chit e basso) e Hupogrammos' Disciple (chit e voce), che hanno deciso di dar vita a un nuovo progetto, i Dordeduh appunto..
così, almeno in teoria, le bands meritevoli e con suoni diversi dal solito, una forte dose di personalità e idee davvero valide, diventano 2..speriamo che anche nella pratica il futuro dia ragione a queste speranze..i Negura li amo e live son incredibili, coinvolgenti a manetta..solo che Hupogrammos ne sapeva un casino..son curioso ora di vedere sia i Negura con la nuova formazione, sia lui coi Dordeduh cosa faran su!

 

In realtà il discorso è molto più complesso: diciamo solo che Negru voleva appropriarsi del nome Negura Bunget, probabilmente per lucrarci sopra, quando i due fondatori, che ora hanno dato vista ai Dordeduh, avevano decretato lo scioglimento del gruppo.

Comunque vedremo chi sulla lunga vincerà la sfida

 

Beh, ero a conoscenza di questa ipotesi..ma non l'ho messa solo perchè la ritengo tale e non una cosa su cui si possa esser certi. Alla fine son quelle cose che possono sapere solo le persone realmente coinvolte nelle questioni in ballo.

Ad ogni modo, ripeto, da un certo punto di vista, speriamo siano entrambe ottime realtà, così ci avremo in qualche modo guadagnato noi.

 

Come ho già detto, conosco da poco la band, ma spero solo che non si creino problemi come con i Gorgoroth tra Gaahl e Infernus.

"After fifteen years of experience in the metal scene Negura Bunget decided to end its activity. Negru will continue with his own project called Din Brad, while Hupogrammos and Sol Faur will continue the direction of the band under a different name that will be announced at a later date. The band would like to thank to everybody, who supported and believed in Negura Bunget and invites you to follow our further musical activities.

This statement is signed by Sol Faur and myself (Hupogrammos). Our aim is to shed light on the recent developments in relation to Negura Bunget. We also want to prevent further abuse of the name Negura Bunget and our past activities. Our decision should be well understood and fans and media have a right to be correctly informed of the current development. We owe this to the public and Negura Bunget itself. There is no intention to turn this into a personal issue between us and our former drummer Negru. We do not wish to create a public scandal, but a line has been crossed and it is time now to stand up and fight for what we believe in.

With the last "official" Negura Bunget statement, things went too far. The selfish and greedy acts of a single person are doing too much harm. We cannot accept how our issues were presented to the world. In truth our gesture to step aside from the band was generated by the selfish behavior of our drummer Negru and by his lack of ability to connect, to work in a team as well as by his lack of honesty.

We initially intended to remain silent on the reasons of our split. We all agreed to end our joined work and
to release a simple and unspectacular statement to the press in order to prevent our personal animosity to become part of the story. It was agreed by all that none of the members would use the name "Negura Bunget" ever again in the future since the band as an entity was comprised by all three of its members. Negru's act of making a public statement that is completely different from what has been agreed upon proves once more a total lack of respect for the other members of our and his own band. It proves his honor to be questionable as his acts are serving only his personal interest.

Our own statement, which we had sent to Negru for approval and adjustment read like this:

“After fifteen years of experience in the metal scene Negura Bunget decided to end its activity. Negru will continue with his own project called Din Brad, while Hupogrammos and Sol Faur will continue the direction of the band under a different name that will be announced at a later date. The band would like to thank to everybody, who supported and believed in Negura Bunget and invites you to follow our further musical activities.”

Unfortunately we did not the chance to see his final statement before it was sent. We were unable to change or to prevent it from becoming public in that form. Being in charge of all the logistic part of our work (i.e. all our contacts, our Myspace page, our official website, our newsletter and activities of Negura Music) Negru was entitled to send our statement to the media and to the public. However, he didn't consult us before posting a statement that did not care about our opinion, even though his statement makes believe this was a mutual decision.

We think that it would have been much more natural, peaceful and wise decision, if he would have simply continued his musical activities under a new name or under the name "Din Brad". In this regard we would like to express our deepest regret and disappointment that two of our guest musicians, whom we collaborated with during the last years, accepted to join his sham. Nevertheless we consider it to be very inappropriate for them to continue performing songs that were composed by those members leaving the band. It is truly sad to see that the band is now becoming a personal business for our former drummer. He never was and he will never be Negura Bunget by himself. If this is the spiritual endeavor which he is talking about, then this is a serious insult to the very name of Negura Bunget and an unforgivable contradiction to the cultural and spiritual concepts that Negura Bunget was standing for during all these years. It means an injury to us, the past members that dedicated 15 years of their lives to support and sustain an elevated path. It means an injury to anybody, who believed in what we were doing and maybe most of all it is a wounding of Spirit and Transcendence, the path that Negura Bunget was honored to dedicate its very existence to.

We, Sol Faur and Hupogrammos, who have composed nearly all music and written the lyrics of and for Negura Bunget herewith, declare that this band is dead. Any continuation of it just means a sham and a fake in our
eyes. "

"This has to be one of the most difficult messages to be written. We are sorry to announce that Hupogrammos and Sol Faur have ended their journey along Negura Bunget. Our paths are now apart. We wish them all the best on their new endeavors (their new project will be announced at a later time).
Meanwhile, a new Negura Bunget line-up is assembled , which will continue the path started almost 15 years ago. Rest assure, we are keen to prove there is more to be said by this band, and we will work to fulfill our spiritual endeavor relentlessly .
All Negura Bunget scheduled plans (concerts, festivals, contracts with Aural Music/Code666 Records and Prophecy Productions/Lupus Lounge) will be completed in the new formula. New website and myspace page are developed and will soon be online.

Più di una semplice ipotesi

In alcuni forum, c'è chi ha parlato di Gorgoroth atto II

 

argh, non avevo letto il comunicato di Hupogrammos e Sol Faur, proprio non sapevo che si fossero espressi in quei termini. Avevo letto soltanto quel comunicato di Negru, sennò non avrei parlato di ipotesi, già già.
Pesante..anche perchè alla luce di questo, anche la permanenza di Inia e Ageru, come detto da H. con quel riferimento a quei 2 membri che avevan collaborato con loro e che han scelto di seguire Negru, risulta discutibile..peccato, Inia mi stava simpatica..(chissà per quale oscuro motivo ).
Staremo a vedere. Viste così le cose vien da concordare coi due "fuoriusciti"..ma ribadisco la mia opinione di prima, son cose delicate..non si può mai esser certi. Anche se ci sono parecchi elementi che vanno nella direzione delineata da loro 2. Bah, quello che rimane più grande, è il dispiacere che le cose sian finite così, e un vago senso di squallore per chi vive per i soldi e la fama riempiendosi poi però la bocca di grandi tematiche e chissà che substrati psicologici, antropologici, esoterici, mistici, filosofici e quant'altro..e lo dico a prescindere dal caso specifico..purtroppo di questi personaggi è pieno anche il grimmissimo mondo del black metal.

 

Letti i comunicati rilasciati mi dispiacerebbe davvero che una band musicalmente intelligente come i Negura finisse a battaglie legali come i Gorgoroth.

 

E dopo tanti comunicati e parole, i due geniacci transilvani tornano in scena con un ep molto breve, uscito a settembre, formato da due sole canzoni, per un totale di 13 minuti molto interessanti, Valea Omului (valle umana, valle degli uomini). Aiutati da Flavius Misarăş al basso e dal nostro connazionale Sergio Ponti (già Ephel Duath e Illogicist) alla batteria, sfornano due brani di media lunghezza, che mi lasciano contemporaneamente ben sperare per il futuro (si spera in un full length durante questo nuovo anno), ma che non sono sicuro di poter definire una "evoluzione" vera e propria, visto quello di cui son stati capaci in passato loro stessi e visto l'asso che hanno calato sul tavolo i loro amici d'un tempo. C'è la proverbiale ferocia black che contraddistingueva sia riffs che cantato di Hupo su Om e precedenti; c'è l'atmosfera; ci sono gli strumenti tradizionali; ci sono melodie intelligenti e la sezione ritmica non è certo sottotono; c'è pure un'interessante vena progressive che al primo ascolto mi ha fatto corrugare le sopracciglia e che ora sto cercando di inquadrare meglio con il susseguirsi degli ascolti..ma mi pare di notare una qualche mancanza nella carica emotiva, nel pathos che è sempre stato (a mio avviso) uno dei pregi, il famoso "quid" in più caratteristico della loro proposta. Ora, possono esser tante cose, in primis una produzione che mi è parsa fin troppo pulita e "lineare"..o anche può tranquillamente essere una mia impressione/allucinazione dovuta alla voglia irrazionale di sentire di più, più nuovo materiale visto il lungo periodo di latitanza (quindi una specie di delusione istintiva per il limitato piacere auricolare)..non lo so. Qui qualcuno ha avuto modo di sentire questi brani? Che idea ve ne siete fatti??

[Quello che però rimane è senz'altro la soddisfazione di sapere che sono tornati a dire la loro.]

Manca decisamente poco, sono molto curioso...

 

Decisamente pure io. L'ep era una sorta di "Ehi, ci siamo anche noi eh...", senza tante pretese secondo me (almeno spero), ma questa volta devono tornare con la classe che hanno messo in lavori come 'n Crugu... ed Om.
