Oggi esce l’attesissimo album solista di ARJEN ANTHONY LUCASSEN, “Songs No One Will Hear”, pubblicato da Inside Out Music.
Fedele allo stile visionario di Lucassen, il disco offre un viaggio eclettico, passando da sonorità epiche ed imponenti a brani più leggeri e giocosi, esplorando sia i lati chiari che quelli oscuri della natura umana.
Per celebrare l’uscita dell’album, è stato reso disponibile ai fan il video di “The Clock Ticks Down”:
Il commento di Arjen in merito al nuovo singolo:
“Cosa farebbe la gente se gli rimanessero solo cinque mesi di vita a causa dell’impatto di un asteroide? Nella prima canzone dell’album, ‘The Clock Ticks Down’, incontriamo persone che reagiscono in modi molto diversi. Una donna si chiude nella sua stanza e si rifiuta di affrontare la situazione. Un uomo anziano cerca di contattare il figlio dopo anni di silenzio. Il mondo sta lentamente crollando mentre la realtà si fa strada. Preparatevi quindi a un mix di emozioni e stili musicali!”.
A guidare l’album è la voce narrante di Mike Mills (Toehider) insieme a collaboratori come Irene e Floor Jansen, Robert Soeterboek, Marcela Bovio e Patty Gurdy, che aggiungono profondità al sound eterogeneo dell’album!
