Aexylium: primo singolo dal nuovo album “The Fifth Season”

Accostando strumenti tradizionali (flauto, violino, bouzouki) al symphonic metal moderno, il nuovo album degli Aexylium segue il debut del 2018 “Tales From This Land“ e l’EP del 2016 “The Blind Crow“. “Tales From This Land“ ha superato i  120.000 streams su Spotify, e il singolo  “Revive the Village“ è entrato nella classifica dei 200 singoli metal su Apple Music Germania. Gli Aexylium hanno reinterpretato in chiave folk metal i temi principali delle colonne sonore di Game of Thrones e Vikings. Fin dalla formazione del progetto avvenuta nel 2014, la band italiana si è esibita in rinomati festival come Dumeltica, International Music Festival, Montelago Celtic Festival, Malpaga Folk & Metal, Rock Inn Somma, Druidia e Strigarium, condividendo il palco con Elvenking, Wind Rose, Nervosa, Furor Gallico, Temperance e altri. Nonostante la pandemia e le restrizioni, nell’Agosto 2020 gli Aexylium sono stati scelti dalla città di Milano per esibirsi allo storico Castello Sforzesco. Il nuovo album “The Fifth Season“ è un concreto passo in avanti verso la crescita e la maturità musicale, ed è formato da ballate, riff taglienti, orchestrazioni complesse e brani più dark ispirati alla mitologia Norrena. L’album include anche special guest vocali come Samuele Faulisi (Atlas Pain), Arianna Bellinaso e i membri del Coro della Facoltà di Musicologia. L’album è stato registrato ai Twilight Studio da Davide Tavecchia con l’artwork di Jan Yrlund (Manowar, Testament, Korpiklaani)
