Mass Worship: pubblicato il nuovo singolo ‘Orcus Mouth’

I MASS WORSHIP pubblicheranno il loro secondo full length il 4 febbraio 2022, nuovamente su Century Media Records. La band svedese ha presentato il videoclip del nuovo singolo “Orcus Mouth”, nuovamente autoprodotto con l’aiuto del live guitarist Niklas Sandin:

Il commento della band in merito al singolo:
“Nel mezzo del caos c’è conforto, nell’incurante nulla cosmico che ci circonda. Le nostre lotte quotidiane non hanno alcun significato nel grande schema delle cose.
Il video di ‘Orcus Mouth’ è stato girato in parte in vecchie rovine a Stoccolma durante una fredda giornata di dicembre e in parte nel bel mezzo della notte in un vecchio teatro scolastico abbandonato. Abbiamo impiegato tutti i nostri sforzi in questo video ed è stata un’esperienza estremamente catartica per tutti noi!”

Nel brano sono presenti come ospiti speciali il chitarrista degli At The Gates Jonas Stålhammar e Jonas Renkse dei Katatonia/Bloodbath.

Despite spending a big part of 2020-2021 locked inside, writing and recording new material, Stockholm based MASS WORSHIP did complete a highly successful tour in support of Polish death metal legends Vader. Meanwhile, MASS WORSHIP are primed and ready to unleash their second full-length assault. “Portal Tombs” is a terrifying but electrifying exploration of the gloomy depths of human nature: a monolithic manifestation of the musical force that is MASS WORSHIP. Drawing inspiration from bands such as At The Gates, Mastodon and Meshuggah, MASS WORSHIP could be likened to many bands, but somehow forge their musical identity into something exceptionally distinctive and transcendent, and with enough confidence and conviction to win over even the most orthodox fans of the genre.
