Napalm Death: nuovo video e nuovo tour, una data in Italia

I padrini del grindcore NAPALM DEATH sono lieti di poter continuare a promuovere il loro attuale e tanto acclamato album “Throes of Joy in the Jaws of Defeatism”. La band inglese si trova attualmente in tour in Nord America come parte del “Scumdogs 30th Anniversary Tour”, assieme a Gwar e ai compagni di label Eyehategod e oggi presenta il video del brano “Contagion”, diretto da Marc Nickel e Ljuba Generalova:

Il commento del cantante Mark ‘Barney’ Greenway in merito agli argomenti trattati nella canzone e nel videoclip:
“Quello che abbiamo cercato di illustrare con il video ‘Contagion’, nonostante la brevità del clip, è quanto sia stato reso difficile fare qualcosa di fondamentale come muoversi liberamente come degli esseri umani. Noi sosteniamo l’abolizione di tutti i confini. A completamento di ciò, il sudato filmato dal vivo è stato girato brillantemente da Ljuba Generalova nella seconda casa virtuale di NAPALM DEATH di Berlino.”

Il commento del bassista Shane Embury, autore della musica e dei testi di “Contagion”:
“Musicalmente ‘Contagion’ è un pezzo feroce, pensato appositamente per i live, con l’aggiunta di un bizzarro ritornello noise che ammicca alla 4AD. Inoltre, avendo così tanti amici nella comunità latina, attraverso un paio di loro ho imparato e letto sui viaggi pericolosi che le famiglie intraprendono per la possibilità di una vita migliore. Come genitore penso sempre al futuro dei miei figli; volevo riflettere nei testi tutte quelle cose che purtroppo ormai diamo per scontato.”

I NAPALM DEATH hanno recentemente annunciato il nuovo tour europeo “Campaign For Musical Destruction”, previsto per i mesi di febbraio e marzo 2022 in compagnia delle leggende del crust Doom, Siberian Meatgrinder e Show Me The Body. Di seguito tutte le date tra cui una italiana:
