OU: ascolta la nuova canzone ‘淨化 Purge’ con la partecipazione di Devin Townsend

La progressive metal band cinese OU ha recentemente annunciato la data di pubblicazione del nuovo album “蘇醒 II: Frailty”, in uscita per Inside Out Music il 26 aprile 2024. L’album è stato co-prodotto e mixato da Devin Townsend mentre l’artwork è stato realizzato da Yooowen.
Da oggi è disponibile il video del nuovo singolo “淨化 Purge” con la partecipazione dello stesso Devin Townsend:

“‘淨化 Purge’ è il secondo brano estratto dal nostro nuovo album ‘蘇醒 II: Frailty’. La canzone è stata scritta come una sorta di meditazione brutale e per un valore aggiunto abbiamo chiesto a Devin di partecipare e a cantare la sua prima canzone in cinese insieme a Lynn. Per fortuna ha accettato e il risultato è abbastanza sorprendente.”

“Con l’età mi ritrovo facilmente annoiato con la nuova musica, che è spesso deludente per un appassionato come me. Nonostante sia molto impegnato, le circostanze reciproche hanno allineato me stesso e ‘OU’. Apprezzo questa connessione poiché la loro musica è eccezionalmente ben eseguita e interessante per me. Sono lieto di essere stato coinvolto in qualcosa di rinfrescante come questo.”
