It's Electric è il titolo del nuovo live album targato Diamond Head, in uscita il 26 giugno su Secret Records. Il platter include l'intera esibizione della band britannica all'Astoria di Londra, tenuta il 4 novembre 2005:

AMM – National School, STAGE ESTIVO del 14,15,16 luglio

L'Accademia di Musica Moderna presenta il progetto National School nell'occasione dell'annuale stage estivo che si terrà il 14, 15, 16 Luglio a Volta Mantovana (MN).

Lo stage vede la partecipazione di musicisti nazionali e internazionali che si avvicenderanno in: master class, clinic e laboratori insieme a tutti i partecipanti.

In particolare la giornata di Venerdì 14 vedrà la presenza al completo dei MR. PIG in qualità di National Tutor per l'area stilistica Rock-Metal.

Michele Luppi (canto), Michele Vioni (chitarra), Giorgio Terenziani (basso) e Riccardo Merlini (batteria) presenteranno i nuovi programmi didattici e terranno clinic dimostrative alternandole a laboratori con gli allievi presenti per tutta la durata della giornata.

Uscirà il 7 luglio Downtown - Journey of a Heart, nuovo best of di John Waite, storica voce dei Bad English di Neil Schon.
I brani, che copriranno l'intera carriera del singer inglese, saranno completamente riarrangiati e riregistrati. "Il mio approccio è stato molto semplice, basato sul modo in cui eseguo i pezzi dal vivo. Diretto e rock: solo chitarre elettriche, Hammond, piano. Niente synth".
Sono previsti anche due nuovi pezzi - una cover di Bob Dylan, Highway 61, e il lento St. Patrick's Day - che saranno indicativi della direzione che Waite percorrerà con il prossimo album.

In un'intervista pubblicata sul forum ufficiale della band, Jon Nödtveidt ha dichiarato che i Dissection si scioglieranno dopo una manciata di date live per presentare al pubblico il materiale del nuovo album, Reinkaos.

Il leader del combo svedese ha dichiarato: "Ogni viaggio ha una fine e noi stiamo raggiungendo la nostra meta coi Dissection, ma intendiamo lasciare il nostro segno suonando dal vivo le canzoni di Reinkaos".

Il musicista afferma di aver raggiunto il massimo dell'espressione dei propri ideali attraverso la band e di voler tentare ora nuove strade.
