Gli Amethista annunciano che sarà la Beyond Records/Masterpiece (Theatre de Vampires, Thee Maldoror Kollective...) a distribuire il primo full length della band torinese "Realitale" .
L'uscita è schedulata per gennaio/febbraio del 2006. Attualmente la band è in attesa che venga ultimata la grafica per poter mandare finalmente in stampa il prodotto.
Inoltre siamo finalmente lieti di poter annunciare in maniera ufficiale l'entrata di Carlos (ex Skylark) alla batteria in pianta stabile. Carlos è con noi ormai da 3 mesi e chi ci ha visti al Black Celtic e con i Dismember può già aver constatato il suo perfetto inserimento nel gruppo.
Siamo tutti entusiasti delle sue capacità tecniche e della sua professionalità, oltre ad esser amici di vecchia data. Egli stesso ha mostrato un entusiasmo inaspettato per il genere da noi proposto. Da gennaio saremo pronti per calcare nuovamente il palco.... con qualche sorpresa!".

La Frontiers Records è orgogliosa di annunciare l'accordo per la pubblicazione del nuovo album da studio dei TOTO, la leggendaria Rock Band americana, intitolato "Falling In Between".
 
Quasi trenta anni di storia, sette Grammy Award, 12 album da studio con quasi 30 milioni di copie vendute, tour da record e una schiera immensa di fan fedelissimi di ogni età. I TOTO sono tutto questo e molto altro!
 
A distanza di sette anni dall'ultimo album di inediti "Mindfields" e con il nuovo tastierista Greg Phillinganes (Eric Clapton, Phil Collins, Stevie Wonder) aggiunto nella lineup, i TOTO sono ora pronti con il nuovo disco da studio!
 
Il chitarrista della band, Steve Lukather descrive orgogliosamente "Falling In Between" come un lavoro d'amore e come: "Qualcosa che abbiamo voluto fortemente e in cui abbiamo dato il meglio di noi".
 
Il disco è stato registrato in sei mesi a Los Angeles, con Steve MacMillan (collaboratore abituale di Trevon Horn) che ha curato il mix finale. Lukather aggiunge: "E' stato il disco su cui abbiamo lavorato di più e che mostra maggiore inventiva", aggiungendo poi: "Con Mindfields era appena tornato Bobby Kimball in formazione e dovevamo ancora integrarci al meglio... "Falling In Between", con la band più amalgamata e con 6 anni di tour alle spalle, è un album fresco, più duro, a volte più progressive e di sicuro con hit radiofonici, fantastiche melodie ed ovviamente il trademark originale del suono TOTO".
 
Il nuovo album presenta comunque molte altre eccitanti sorprese per i fan. "Il nostro cantante di "Fahrenheit" e "Seventh One", Joseph Williams è tornato per cantare un duetto con me ", spiega Lukather e "ci sono anche Ian Anderson (JETHRO TULL), la sezione fiati e Jason Scheff dei CHICAGO, L. Shankar (PETER GABRIEL), Lenny Castro, Tom Scott ed altri ospiti illustri. Credo proprio che quando i nostri fan ascolteranno il disco avranno un gran sorriso sul loro volto. Tutti i musicisti coinvolti hanno dato il meglio di sé!"
 
La scaletta del disco includerà le seguenti canzoni: Falling In Between; Dying On My Feet; Bottom Of Your Soul; King Of The World; Hooked; Simple Life; Taint Your World; Let It Go; Spiritual Man; No End In Sight.
 
"Se questo, per assurdo, dovesse essere l'ultimo nostro album (e non lo sarà!)", conclude Lukather, "potrò andar via tranquillo, sapendo di aver dato il meglio. Mi auguro i fan apprezzeranno l'amore e la passione che ci abbiamo messo per fare "Falling In Between... ci vedremo presto in tour!".
 
La band ha già confermato le date del tour Europeo a Febbraio e Marzo 2006 - inclusa una data in Italia al Mazdapalace di Milano il 18 marzo 2006 - ed un tour mondiale di due anni che toccherà tutti i continenti fra il 2006 ed il 2007.
 
"Falling In Between" sarà nei negozi a partire dal 10 Febbraio 2006 su Frontiers Records con distribuzione italiana ad opera della Self Distribuzioni di Milano.
 
Il primo singolo estratto dal nuovo disco del TOTO "Falling In Between" è intitolato "Bottom Of Your Soul". Nelle descrizione del tastierista David Paich la canzone è una "preghiera di pace", ispirata dalla tragedia delle vittime della guerra civile in Sudan. Nelle sue parole: "La canzone è stata scritta dopo una conversazione che ebbi con il batterista Simon Phillips relativa ad un ritmo africano in 6/8. Più tardi il nostro chitarrista Steve Lukather ha completato la melodia nel refrain".
 
Ospite alla voce è l'ex cantante della band, Joseph Williams che canta in duetto con il chitarrista Steve Lukather. Presenti anche altri ospiti speciali: il cantante dei CHICAGO Jason Scheff e il musicista indiano Shankar (PETER GABRIEL). Il lavoro alle percussioni è invece del batterista del gruppo Simon Phillips aiutato dal collaboratore di lunga data della band: Lenny Castro.

I californiani Vile stanno pianificando un tour europeo insieme a Deeds Of Flesh, Impaled e ad una quarta band ancora da definire. Il tour dovrebbe svolgersi dal 23 marzo al 24 aprile. Date e locations verranno annunciate prossimamente.
