Ciò è stato riferito da alcune radio musicali provenienti da tutto il mondo, da alcuni dei più importanti siti metal e dall'admin del forum ufficiale di Tony Iommi. Stando a quanto riferiscono le voci, il gruppo si riunirà sotto il nome di Heaven and Hell per una tournèe che toccherà anche l'Europa.
Intanto, Ronnie sta lavorando con i Sabbath ai nuovi brani da includere nella raccolta "Black Sabbath: The Dio Years" e al nuovo album che sarà il primo studio album dei DIO ad avere al basso Rudy Sarzo.

Uscirà il 26 gennaio 2007 per l'austriaca CCP Records l'album “Happy Days”, il cui titolo è ispirato all'omonimo dramma teatrale di Samuel Beckett.
Rispetto a Carmina Pagana il nuovo album è più omogeneo ed oscuro, avendo preso come ispirazione Primordial, Ulver e Satyricon, ma è anche più aperto contaminazioni sperimentali e rock.
