Scythe For Sore Eyes: terzo album “Face Puzzle”

La heavy metal band finlandese Scythe For Sore Eyes, con sede a Helsinki, ha pubblicato oggi, 21 novembre, il suo terzo album in studio intitolato “Face Puzzle”.

La band è stata fondata nel 2013 e in precedenza aveva pubblicato due album completi, “Dawn Of A Darker Horizon” (2015) e “Nothing “ (2019). Il nuovo album,  “Face Puzzle”, è stato registrato presso l’Inka Studio sotto la supervisione di Juho Räihä.

Per il nuovo lavoro, la band ha cercato un sound leggermente più pesante, e le clean vocals si alternano al growling come nei precedenti lavori.

L’album include anche un paio di cover. Una è “Existence in Hatred“, originariamente eseguita dalla thrash metal band finlandese Sorrowed, che era la precedente band del chitarrista/cantante (growler) degli SfSE, Jarno Nummenpää. L’altra cover è la leggendaria “Breaking The Law“ dei Judas Priest.
