earMUSIC è lieta di annunciare “Survive”, il nuovo album in studio degli STRATOVARIUS, in arrivo il 23 settembre 2022.
Sette anni dopo l’uscita del loro ultimo album “Eternal“, gli Stratovarius dimostrano ancora una volta il loro status di band ammiraglia del Symphonic Metal e tornano con un album incredibile. Non solo musicalmente, la band è ancora una volta al passo coi tempi. L’ambiente e il futuro dell’umanità sono sempre stati un tema importante e ricorrente nella musica degli Stratovarius e quindi il titolo del nuovo album “Survive” così come l’artwork che lo accompagna non sorprendono affatto, soprattutto nella prospettiva dell’attuale situazione globale.
Un ritorno travolgente da una delle band più importanti dell’heavy metal sinfonico!

Il commento del tastierista Jens Johansson:
“Abbiamo trascorso cinque o sei giorni cercando di trovare il testo per quella canzone. Quando finalmente ci siamo accordati su quella battuta finale per il chorus ci siamo resi conto del fatto che fosse una buona canzone sulla sopravvivenza. Si adatta anche alla storia della band perché siamo riusciti a sopravvivere per tutto questo tempo. Questa band ha passato dei giorni strani! La formazione originale si è formata nel 1984, è una lunga storia… Era la metà dell’estate scorsa, c’erano incendi boschivi ovunque, c’era una pandemia globale e un sacco di altre cose decisamente sbagliate. Alcuni dei testi sono forse meno edificanti di quanto avrebbero potuto essere ma questo riflette il nostro stato d’animo al momento. Ci sono anche un sacco di cose positive!”
