Swallow The Sun: Anette Olzon guest star in ‘Emerald Sword And The Blackboard’

I finlandesi Swallow The Sun hanno scelto “Emerald Forest And The Blackbird” come titolo per il loro quinto full-length, che uscirà il 1 febbraio 2012 per Spinefarm Records. Il disco è stato registrato fra settembre e ottobre 2011 da Mikko Karmila (NIGHTWISH, AMORPHIS, CHILDREN OF BODOM) presso gli Drumforest Studios di Viitasaari e il Sonic Pump 2  di Helsinki. Il mixaggio è a cura di Hiili Hiilesmaa (HIM, APOCALYPTICA, AMORPHIS, MOONSPELL), mentre Mika Jussila (NIGHTWISH, AMORPHIS, SENTENCED) si occuperà del mixaggio ai Finnvox Studios. L’artwork è stato creato nuovamente da Rami Mursula. Il disco è caratterizzato dalla partecipazione della cantante Anette Olzon (NIGHTWISH) in qualità di guest star nel brano “Cathedral Walls“, oltre alla presenza di Aleah Stanbridge  (TREES OF ETERNITY) che canta su altri due brani.
