Destruction: confermato il cambio del batterista

I Destruction confermano che il batterista Sven ha lasciato la band, è già pronto un sostituto. A quanto pare il vecchio batterista ha bisogno di dedicare più tempo alla sua famiglia. Segue la dichiarazione di Sven, in inglese.————————————————————
Ok people, here is my statement !

The subject has been around for a while, but now the time has finally come.
You can believe me when i say it was not an easy decision!
I had been thinking about it for a long time and this is how I finally decided.
The reason for my decision is not only my missing private life, as much as that too is part of it.
Somewhere along the way the fun in working just got lost.
Because during the last year, with being on the road so much, I noticed that this kind of life is just not for me.
I was only getting from one place to the next, waking up in the morning to wait until we played, then on to the next location. I know that some of you folks would give god knows what to be able to do that just once. But it’s just not everybodys kind of life!!
And once you lose the fun in working you can’t be as good anymore as you might have been before. Sooner or later this would have happened and I wanted to avoid it, especially because of the other Band members.
I won’t be gone for good though. I’ll still be a Thrasher and make music, only one or two levels further down (measured by popularity).
To clear away some other rumors: Destruction will not break up !!!
Drummers almost always can be replaced!!! And we didn’t fight about me leaving. We talked about it in a friendly manner!!!
Ok, that was it for now. I hope you and Mike and Schmier will have a thrashing great time and I wish you good luck for the future.
So our slogan “Thrash ‘til death” still goes for me!
