Ashen: in arrivo il nuovo album “Leave the Flesh Behind”

I deathster australiani Ashen pubblicheranno il 22 agosto per Redefining Darkness Records (che ha curato anche la ristampa del debutto “Ritual of Ash”) il loro secondo album “Leave the Flesh Behind”. La band originaria di Perth ha pubblicato sinora il video di ‘Devourer’ e della title-track, che trovate di seguito.

Following the reissue of their debut Ritual of Ash in April, Australian death metal juggernaut ASHEN return with Devourer, the next single from their upcoming sophomore album, Leave the Flesh Behind.

While many death metal acts aim for sheer speed, ASHEN thrive on groove and weight, delivering wave after wave of massive, churning riffs. Known for their crushing mid-tempo grooves and unrelenting riff-craft, the band straddles the line between old-school death metal worship and modern heaviness. Think Bolt Thrower by way of Gojira, with flashes of Bloodbath, but ASHEN never lean too far into any one corner. Their sound is familiar yet distinctly their own.
