At The Gates: annunciano il nuovo album “The Nightmare Of Being”

Gli alfieri del melodic death metal svedese AT THE GATES hanno recentemente completato le registrazioni e i preparativi per il nuovo album. “The Nightmare Of Being” sarà pubblicato il 2 luglio 2021 su Century Media Records. Nonostante molte parti del disco siano state registrate in differenti studio svedesi (le batterie presso Studio Gröndal con Jens Bogren, le chitarre e il basso con Andy La Rocque ai Sonic Train Studio e le voci al Welfare Sounds con Per Stålberg) l’album è stato mixato presso il Fascination Street Studios (Amon Amarth, Opeth, Kreator, etc.) da Jens Bogren, già al lavoro con la band con l’album “At War With Reality” del 2014. L’artwork è stato curato da Eva Nahon. Il commento del cantante Tomas Lindberg Redant: “Il tema principale dell’album è il pessimismo e io sono particolarmente affascinato dai filosofi che trattano questo argomento. Cercando di capire questo punto di vista verso il mondo. Questo non è un album negativo, è più una porta verso nuove idee viste da un’altra prospettiva. Si potrebbe definire quest’album come un’introduzione al concetto di pessimismo, credo. È un album molto oscuro, ma non negativo…” Di seguito artwork e tracklist:
