Derek Sherinian: in arrivo un nuovo album da solista

DEREK SHERINIAN, l’acclamatissimo tastierista di Sons Of Apollo e Black Country Communion, annuncia oggi la firma con Inside Out Music per la pubblicazione del suo nuovo album solista. “The Phoenix” sarà pubblicato il 18 settembre 2020 ed è il seguito di “Oceana”, pubblicato nel 2011.
Il commento di Derek:
“Questo è il miglior disco che abbia mai registrato, lo sento dal profondo. Simon (Philipps) e io abbiamo messo tutte le nostre energie in fase di scrittura. Devo ringraziare tutti i fantastici esecutori che hanno preso parte a questo progetto”Ancora una volta Sherinian ha fatto squadra con il batterista Simon Philipps, turnista di Jeff Beck, Gary Moore, Jon Lord, Mike Oldfield, Judas Priest, Toto ed altri, con il quale ha co-prodotto il disco. Presenti inoltre in veste di ospiti speciali i bassisti Tony Franklin (“He’s been on all my albums to date”), Jimmy Johnson e Billy Sheehan e i chitarristi Joe Bonamassa, Zakk Wylde, Steve Vai, Ron ‘Bumblefoot’ Thal e Kiko Loureiro.

Moreover, proving just how much he is demand to work with rock royalty, Sherinian has also toured and recorded extensively with KISS, and Billy Idol, proving his classic and hard rock pedigree, whilst also being voted #9 in Prog Magazines greatest keyboardists of all time.
