I Fuoco Fatuo hanno firmato un contratto triennale con la storica label italiana New LM productions. Il primo passo sarà la pubblicazione di "Our Elegy", il primo full-lenght che conterrà materiale vecchio completamente remastered e roba nuova scritta apposta per celebrare l'uscita per LM. L'uscita è schedulata per i primi di settembre. Il disco sarà distribuito da Mastrepiece Distribution, mentre della promozione se ne occuperà la Haze Promotions.

La Mostra dei Mostri 2006 - dal 23 al 25 agosto a Cellino Attanasio (TE)

Concluse le selezioni del concorso "Rumori di Dentro" ecco i sei gruppi selezionati:
AMETHISTA - EYECONOCLAST - DISEASE - DICTATOREYES -EVIL MACHINE - STRAIGHT OPPOSITION .
LND ringrazia tutte le bands che hanno inviato materiale e che non abbiamo potuto selezionare (purtroppo i posti erano solo sei, sarà per la prossima..). Quest' anno si spazia dal black-gothic al thrash, dal death tecnico all'hardcore-metal, insomma c'è n'è per tutti i gusti. Le bands selezionate suoneranno i primi due giorni della mostra, ossia mercoledì 23 e giovedì 24 ed il vincitore, oltre ad aprire il concerto degli EXTREMA vince 4 giorni di registrazione ai Temple of Noise a Roma e la distribuzione del cd da parte della DEATH BANG RECORDS, della IN DELIRIUM e della stessa LND. A presto il bill ufficiale.

Il frontman degli Edguy, Tobias Sammet, con un messaggio sul sito ufficiale della band fa sapere che il concerto tenuto la scorsa settimana in Repubblica Ceca è stato "incredibile". 25.000 pazzi hanno dato vita ad una notte magica. Chiude ringraziando i fans e dando appuntamento all'Earthshaker, festival che si terrà il prossimo fine settimana in Germania.

A breve verrà lanciato il sito ufficiale di Tobias Sammet comprendente una sezione dove Toby parlerà direttamente e quotidianamente coi fans (tranne, naturalmente, quando sarà in tour).

In una recente intervista ad un magazine brasiliano, il frontman Andre Matos, ha dichiarato che la band ha sospeso ogni attività per un periodo di tempo indeterminato, per permettere così ad ogni componente di concentrarsi sui rispettivi progetti personali. Non si tratta quindi di uno split definitivo, ma certamente non si preannuncia nulla di buono. Voci non ufficiali danno il batterista Ricardo Confessori definitivamente fuori. Per quanto riguarda Andre Matos c'è da segnalare una sua partecipazione alla rappresentazione a teatro della rock opera Tommy, tratta dall'omonimo masterpiece degli The Who (1969). L'esibizione, organizzata dalla "Banda Sinfônica Jovem do Estado de São Paulo" (un'orchestra composta esclusivamente da ragazzi dai 18 ai 25 anni) ha preso luogo a San Paulo nel mese di giugno e Andre ha ricoperto il ruolo di "Tommy Walker", il protagonista del concept. Su www.distantthunder.com.br ci sono alcune foto della performance ed è anche possibile scaricare 2 brevi video. Il cantante si è dichiarato molto soddisfatto del lavoro svolto e non ha escluso la possibilità di poter intraprendere altre esperienze del genere. Per il futuro sembra possibile anche una nuova collaborazione al secondo episodio della saga Virgo del produttore tuttofare Sascha Paeth.
