I californiani Crescent Shield hanno firmato un contratto discografico con Cruz del Sur Music, che prevede la pubblicazione in ottobre del primo full-length "The Last of my Kind".
La band è il progetto dell'ex cantante degli Onward, Michael Grant, e l'ex chitarrista dei Destiny's End, Dan DeLucie. A completare la line-up ci sono il batterista Craig Anderson (ex-Ignite/Engine) e il bassista Melanie Sisneros (ex-New Eden/The Iron Maidens/Sinergy).

Sono terminate da poco le registrazioni di "Dorothy" il secondo album dei Moonlight Comedy, la band è attualmente impegnata ai missaggi del disco che comprenderà ben 11 pezzi. Nel nuovo album la band rinnova il proprio sound progressive metal inserendo elementi elettronici e psichedelici nn tralasciando mai la vena teatrale che da sempre li caratterizza.
L'album uscirà con distribuzione mondiale nel gennaio 2007 per l'etichetta finlandese Lion Music.
