I rockers svedesi Kayser, guidati da Spice (ex-Spiritual Beggard), hanno finito di registrare 14 pezzi presso i Caesar Studios con il produttore Richard Larsson.

In estate sarà pubblicato un EP, "The Good Citizen", che conterrà 4 tracce:

Il tastierista Derek Sherinian ha finito di lavorare al suo quinto album solista, che si intitolerà "Blood Of The Snake".

Tra gli ospiti compaioni: Billy Idol, Zakk Wylde, Yngwie Malmsteen, John Petrucci e molti altri.

Il disco sarà pubblicato da InsideOut Records il 27 luglio.

Al momento la data italiana è fissata per il 29 gennaio a Milano.

I nostrani Thy Majestie si sono separati dal cantante Giulio Di Gregorio. Questo il comunicato rilasciato dalla band il 2 aprile, sul proprio sito ufficiale:

Eravamo rimasti che avremmo dato comunicazione a breve del gruppo di supporto per il concerto del 19 Aprile. Invece ci ritroviamo a darvi una brutta notizia. Purtroppo non solo al concerto non parteciperemo più ma dobbiamo anche comunicare che Giulio non fa più parte dei Thy Majestie. La difficile decisione è stata presa con molta sofferenza, ma purtroppo sia Giulio che il resto della band si sono resi conto che era l'unica cosa possibile da fare. Non stiamo qui a spiegare i motivi della separazione, perchè sono cose che riguardano solo noi e Giulio. I nostri rapporti di amicizia rimangono inalterati, le nostre carriere musicali si dividono qui.

Ancora una volta ci ritroviamo senza un cantante, in una terra (la Sicilia) che offre ben poco da questo (e non solo) punto di vista. Al momento le sorti dei Thy Majestie sono appese ad un filo molto sottile. Sappiamo che molti sperano che questo filo si spezzi, e molti altri invece sperano che possiamo di nuovo risollevarci dall'ennesima batosta. Ma questa volta sarà difficile, molto difficile.

Rivolgiamo quindi l'invito solo ai palermitani (mai più cantanti in "trasferta") , se c'è un cantante interessato a fare un provino che si faccia vivo.

Tempo libero da dedicare ad un progetto ambizioso

Dopo tante vicissitudini e qualche irregolarità - che francamente, e forse ingenuamente, non ci aspettavamo - eccovi la classifica finale dell'Italian Best Act Championship.

Una vittoria sul filo di lana per i Rhapsody che in uno sprint finale tutto power battono di strettisima misura i Vision Divine. Terzi i Node, che insieme ai Necrodeath (quarti di una sola lunghezza sui Lacuna Coil), hanno probabilmente catalizzato tutte le simpatie degli utenti dai gusti estremi.

Presumibilmente causa i problemi tecnici al sito, in questa finale i votanti sono stati molto meno rispetto alle "batterie", ma in ogni caso eccovi la classifica finale:
