Steve Hackett presenta “The Lamb Stands Up Live At The Royal Albert Hall”, la straordinaria registrazione del suo spettacolo tenutosi nell’ottobre 2024 nell’iconico locale londinese, la cui uscita è prevista per l’11 luglio 2025 su Inside Out Music.

Steve e la sua band celebrano il 50° anniversario del leggendario concept album dei Genesis “The Lamb Lies Down On Broadway” con una selezione dei suoi brani preferiti, tra cui “Fly On A Windshield” e “Lilywhite Lilith”. Il live set include anche altri classici dei Genesis e da solista, compresa la musica del suo ultimo acclamato album “The Circus And The Nightwhale”. Questa serata speciale ha visto la band affiancata da ospiti come Ray Wilson, Steve Rothery, Amanda Lehmann e John Hackett.
Il commento di Steve:
“Sono stato molto felice di rivisitare ‘Lamb’ in tour. La serata alla Royal Albert Hall è stata particolarmente memorabile. È il mio locale londinese preferito e l’atmosfera che si respirava quella sera era assolutamente elettrica… Sono stato davvero contento che tutti i componenti della band e gli ospiti che si sono esibiti abbiano fatto centro!”.
La serata, sapientemente mixata dal tecnico Chris Lord-Alge, vincitore di un Grammy, e masterizzata da Ted Jensen presso lo Sterling Sound, è stata filmata dal collaboratore di lunga data Paul M. Green ed è presentata in un’edizione speciale 2CD+Blu-ray Digipak con mix audio surround 5.1 e contenuti bonus. La versione vinile è disponibile in un cofanetto deluxe 4LP 180g, con un libretto di 12 pagine in formato LP contenente le foto della serata.
