I Voidthrone, quartetto di dissonant blackened death metal, hanno pubblicato il lyric video per “Surfing the Abyss”, il secondo singolo tratto dal nuovo album, “Dreaming Rat”.

Le parole della band:

“Surfing the Abyss” è il nostro primo brano a presentare un vibraslap (!), e, anche, una sezione honky-tonk? Giudicate voi. È black-death metal con riferimenti di genere assurdi, qualche vocalizzazione “ugh!” ispirata a Tom G. Warrior e un basso fretless davvero gustoso di Gavin Brooks. Buon ascolto!

I Voidthrone pubblicheranno Dreaming Rat, il loro album più folle e incisivo di sempre, l’8 maggio.
