Rob Halford, leggendaria icona e frontman dei Judas Priest, parla in modo assai lusinghiero del nuovo elemento in formazione, il chitarrista Richie Faulkner.

 

 

E’ se stesso! Non abbiamo mai voluto una copia-carbone, non volevamo qualcuno in grado di clonare le cose altrui. I componenti basici del pezzo sono sempre al loro posto, ma abbiamo detto a Richie di non preoccuparsi nel metterci del proprio, perchè era importante stabilire la tua identità. Cosa che ha fatto. Ed i fans lo hanno capito. Non c’è stata alcuna negatività nei suoi riguardi. Ammettiamolo, Richie per certi versi ha salvato i Judas Priest, perchè se non avessimo trovato lui nel momento cruciale in cui necessitavamo di un chitarrista le cose sarebbero andate diversamente.

 

 

Bè, in effetti il buon Rob non ha mica tutti i torti….
