Dalla Svezia è in arrivo una delle band più significative del panorama gothic-doom europeo. KATATONIA oggi sono arrivati all'ottavo disco intitolato 'Night Is The New Day'. Virando molto più al prog i Nostri non dimenticano le radici che li hanno fatti diventare la band "depressive-rock" per eccellenza. Tutti ricordiamo 'Brave Murder Day', anno 1996: un disco triste ma intenso e a tratti commovente. KATATONIA saranno in Italia per ben tre date nel mese di Marzo.

La band guidata da Hansi Kursh uscirà con il nuovo attesissimo album nel 2010, ma nel frattempo ha già confermato le date del tour mondiale che seguirà. Ecco le parole di Hansi:

"Sono veramente orgoglioso di annunciare i primi show del World Tour 2009/2010. Avremo un nuovo fantastico album e con il nostro entusiasmo e il vostr grandissimo supporto sono sicuro che ogni show del tour rappresenterà un'esperienza unica per tutti voi, un elemento di pura magia. Siate parte di ciò ed aspettatevi il meglio. E occhio al nuovo album che uscirà la prossima estate. Ci vediamo sui palchi di tutto il mondo!"

BLIND GUARDIAN saranno in Italia ad Ottobre 2010. per due shows. Saranno presenti due special guests, di cui al momento solo Steelwing sono stati confermati. L'altro nome verrà svelato a breve.

Gli INFERNAL POETRY comunicano che è finalmente pronto il nuovo videclip della canzone "DRIVE-GIG DRIVE-GIG" tratta dall'ultimo fortunatissimo album NERVOUS SYSTEM FAILURE uscito a giugno 2009 per la Copro Productions.

Ideato, diretto, girato e montato dalla band stessa, il mirabolante video parla delle disgraze a cui va incontro chiunque affronti una vita "on the road" e si ispira alle disavventure di Tony Martin (ex Black Sabbath) avvenute sul suolo italico una manciata di anni fa.

Ma c'è di più! Per l'occasione la band mette in palio una copia di NERVOUS SYSTEM FAILURE + una T-SHIRT colore (uomo o girlie a scelta)+ una copia del libro "10 RAGIONI PER INIZIARE A SUONARE E 1000 PER SMETTERE" per coloro i quali risponderanno correttamente al seguente quesito:

I Gamma Ray hanno annunciato di aver completato la registrazione di dodici tracce, nel passato autunno, delle quali dieci andranno a comporre il nuovo album ,che si intitolerà To The Metal . Il successore di Land Of The Free II, la cui uscita è prevista per il 29 gennaio 2010. Il disco si preannuncia, nelle parole della band, "un prodotto di razza ma di classe, veloce ma profondo, e contenente alcune sorprese". La notizia della release è stata data dal gruppo teutonico sul proprio sito ufficiale.

I modern melodeath metaller greci The Fallen Within hanno ultimato le riprese del primo video ufficiale per la canzone Sound Of Destruction contenuta nel debut album intitolato "Intoxicated" in uscita il 14 dicembre su Coroner Records.
