Whitesnake: festeggiano il 35esimo anniversario di “Side It In” con una Ultimate Special Edition

“Slide it in”, album dei Whitesnake datato 1984 e che ha venduto oltre sei milioni di copie in tutto il mondo quest’anno compirà 35 anni, Rhino/Parlophone per festeggiare questo anniversario ha deciso di pubblicare la Ultimate Special Edition contenente 6 CD/DVD con versioni rimasterizzate sia di mix inglesi che americani, registrazioni inedite in studio, video musicali, filmati live ed una nuova intervista al fondatore e cantante David Coverdale. “Side it in – Ultimate Special Edition” sarà disponibile a partire dall‘8 marzo prossimo.

Coverdale ha dichiarato:

Ascoltare tutte queste performance dopo 35 anni in modo chiaro e fresco è stato fantastico. Mel, Cozy e Jon erano straordinari allora come lo sono adesso, anche Christopher Collier che si è occupato del re-mixaggio, ha tirato fuori il meglio dalla registrazione ed ha donato all’album un nuovo smalto. Posso dire che sono personalmente entusiasta di ciò che è stato realizzato oggi.
