Blue Oyster Cult: nuove release
* “Agents of Fortune” sarà pubblicato dalla Sony in formato SACD (Super Audio CD) il 18 Marzo.
Il disco conterrà due versioni del pezzo: una in Multichannel Stereo e l’altra in Multichannel Surround. Ci sarà inoltre una bonus track, “Fire of Unknown Origin”, registrata durante le sessioni di registrazione originali. Questo particolare tipo di formato SACD non funziona coi lettori CD standard, ma necessita di un lettore SACD.
* Il 25 Febbraio, invece, uscirà il DVD-Audio di “A Long Day’s Night”, della Silverline Records. Questo formato funziona con qualsiasi lettore standard DVD o anche nei DVD-ROM del computer.
Inoltre, il 18 Marzo, usciranno due compilation.
La prima, edita dalla Sony, si intitola “The Essential Blue Öyster Cult”, che conterrà i seguenti 16 pezzi:
