Dopo la masterizzazione è finalmente tutto pronto per la pubblicazione del nuovo attesissimo album, che è prevista intorno al 24 Ottobre, appena un paio di settimane dopo l'uscita del DVD"The final countdown 20th anniversary".

La band è ora pronta per la foto session che si terrà la settimana prossima, dalla quale usciranno le foto che faranno parte del booklet del nuovo CD.

La copertina non conterrà una foto della band ma sarà una copertina definita dagli stessi membri della band, astratta, sul tema del titolo dell'album.

Titolo che ancora non è stato scelto: il grafico lavorerà infatti su tre temi diversi e poi sarà effettuata la scelta a seconda di dove cadrà la decisione della band.

Il nuovo album avrà uno stile molto diverso da quello di "Start from the dark", meno cupo ma comunque heavy con qualche punta soft sul genere di Wings of Tomorrow!! Più presenti le tastiere anche se come synth e John Norum torna alle sonorità blues da lui tanto amate.

Joey si libera della voce controllata e pacata di Start from the dark tornando con molta disinvoltura ad usare note più alte e pulite.

Si è riflettuto molto su ogni singolo pezzo del nuovo album dando molta attenzione al dettaglio cosa non successa su Start from the Dark, registrato quasi di getto ed in appena due settimane.
Il nuovo album è stato registrato per la maggior parte ai King's studios dove è stato trasportato il mixer e altre costosissime strumentazioni dai famosi Polar studios, ma in generale l'album è stato registrato in 3 studi diversi proprio per meglio realizzare i suoni e permettere di lavorare ai suoni di alcune track in uno studio e contemporaneaamente registrare su altre tracce in un altro.

I pezzi contenuti nell'album sono stati scritti da Joey Tempest, John Norum e Mic Michaeli, il quale questa volta è presente in 3 pezzi anche come autore.

Commento di Ian Haugland (Batterista della band) all' ascolto del lavoro masterizzato: sentendo le registrazioni in studio già ero contentissimo, ma ascoltando proprio il lavoro completamente finito e masterizzato, quello che posso dire è che è il migliore chegli Europe abbiano mai fatto!!!
